The mission of the FECC is to promote the wonderful businesses in our community and to provide a better quality of life to our residents and visitors.  Fort Edward is a unique community with many historic sites to visit, where International companies are investing millions, locally owned businesses are strong, and quality schools continue to attract young families.

The purpose of the FECC website is to provide residents and visitors a place to gather information about businesses and services within our community.

Fort Edward is blessed to have a wide variety of businesses in our community, such as ESMI, leaders in the field of Environmental Remediation efforts, General Electric, Irving Tissue, makers of Scotties products, and Fort Edward Caseworks; a high quality woodworking and cabinetry maker. 

Delicious eateries such as The Anvil Inn, located in a historic blacksmith shop, which provides a wide menu from burgers and sandwiches to seafood and prime rib, the Ye Old Fort Diner that has fine home cooking and tasty food, and Angelina’s, the local favorite pizza parlor are among a few of the dining experiences in Fort Edward. 

There are Medical Facilities such as the Fort Hudson Nursing Home and a brand new Hudson Headwaters Health Network facility will open later this year. 

Several spotlight businesses include: Timeless Art that offers all sorts of locally produced gifts, artwork and candies.  They are conveniently located in the newly renovated Fort Edward Historic Train Station, and welcome our visitors that come in by Amtrak.

The Garden Center at Agway/True Value offers lawn and garden products, hardware supplies and all your pet needs. Glens Falls National Bank and Stewarts Shops both have 2 locations in Fort Edward for your convenience.

Service Businesses including hair salons, such as Vanity Hair, the Fort Edward Animal Hospital, and Fort Edward Dental are all ready to meet your needs.
